A lot of people seem to confuse headlights with high beams though. Got blinded several times yesterday by remos who can’t tell the difference.

Definitely and leaving your headlights on during the day can increase visibility all-round. The problem is the people that use their fog lights incorrectly leaving them turned on 24/7, some of these lights seem to be angled directly into your eyes at close range, very annoying.

I was cut off by a person driving a dark purple 360 who didn’t have their headlights on in the pouring rain while traveling at 100 kph this morning, does that off-set your sensible person well enough?

Take care going around suburban roundabouts in Southern Canberra. The local hoons like to spill oil on them making them very dangerous in these conditions. Even at a very slow speed, turning into Wanniassa Shops becomes a slippery ordeal everytime it rains.

Congrats to all the drivers though who are driving to the conditions and to those who are putting their lights on in heavy rain where visibility is impaired. It all helps. Conversely, to the nut-bag soccer mum driving a Torago on Drakeford at 110 in an 80 zone, hopefully your kids won’t be in the car when you find a light pole with your name on it. Just think about next time.
