As seen on Mort Street in Braddon, this junction box bears careful watching.

I don’t think it was an attempt to be realistic. Ninjas rarely carry protractors.
Sorry to stir the pot, but if this was an attempt to be more realistic, they should have traced the shadow a little better or made the mirror image a little more accurate. At 180 degrees rotated the “shadow” would have had a point or peak, representing the corner of the pillar. If you think more logically it would also not cast a shadow at all because the building blocks the sun from that side if it even shines from that direction. Simple geometry. If you want to see street art, check out the stuff overseas on the net. This is just another form of graffiti from a NINJA [yes, I looked i up today and know what it means]
I saw this last weekend and I think it’s awesome. I love this kind of stuff.
I agree. This kind of street art is clever and I think most people can appreciate it.
Was also one on a lightpole in the newly reovated park area on London Circuit and West Row. Someone’s tried to scrub it off though.
The Art of Graffiti?
Love that one! It is not a junction box though it is a “Mini Pillar”.
It’s brilliant, isn’t it.
walk a bit further North along the street and check the shadow from one of the bike racks – every bit as good.
I saw this on the weekend and thought it was great.
I’ll try to remember to take more photos if new stuff pops up around Braddon.. at least if it’s worth having up here as opposed to the annoying faces tagged on everything and anything.
