Camping world in receivership

We visited the store in Gungahlin on the weekend and was advised by the sales person that Camping world Gungahlin and Tuggeranong are in receivership.

Tuggeranong has been closed and all stock has been transported to the Gungahlin store

And thus bears no resemblance to anything that may ever have been called Camping World. A bit like Grandfather’s axe perhaps..

So you were just browsing & it bothers you that nobody approached you with a fake, “what are you looking for today.” or some other …

I wish all my shopping trips involved me walking into a store, without being asked for assistance or having an awkward conversation about “what I’m up to today?”

Where did I say it bothers me?
I clearly said ‘I’m not surprised.’

Where did I say I was just browsing?
I clearly said: ‘have always had to ask for assistance’

I don’t shop to browse, that’s what the internet is for.
I shop to buy. Go in, look for what I’m after, purchase and leave.

I don’t like being asked ‘what I’m up to today?’, but I do like plain old customer service.

If I didn’t want any interaction with sales staff I would but online.

hear hear. Customer service just isnt the same, anywhere.
