Canberra Embassy Closure ?

I noted as I walked and then drove past the Canberra Tent Embassy that it was looking rather… well… abandoned.

A lot of the longstay residents appear to have moved on, and their gardens and yards are now getting overgrown.

Have they realised that nobody cares ?

Or have they realised that politicians no longer frequent that building and they should have moved the protest further up the hill a very long time ago ?

Or have they given up ?

Any news ?

You being jamacian explains why you look half alseep all the time

Maelinar has more black blood in him than Unbeliever. I dare you to prove otherwise.

The ironic thing is therein lies your problem. Most protesters I see nowadays tend to have more white than any other colour in them.

I wonder if I caould move into the Lodge and tell people the end of my ciggy is a Sacred Fire?

The tent embassy is a bloody eyesore – it should have removed as soon as it was set up. No-one else gets to randomly camp wherever they feel like it!

Spring starts tomorrow

Watch it start filling soon

‘ they should have moved the protest further up the hill a very long time ago’

Non-indigenous folks telling aboriginal folks how they should conduct their struggle. I love it.

perhaps in order to move them on, we should sell the land to koomari…

Yes, moving up the hill would probably have been a good idea. A bit of Aussie in ya face irreverence would be good for that place. Go for it I say. JWH would hate it.
