Chicken Processing near Canberra?

Does anyone know if there is an abattoir near Canberra where I could have my chickens processed so they could legally be sold?

@FiSyd – did you ever find anywhere to deal with your chickens?

I am looking for the same, except just for us to eat – not to sell.

Those duckslayer machines work real well. I used to to have something similar a few years ago. I don’t see why they wouldn’t work just as well on a chook.

It might even be worthwhile trying one on a greeny if you ever accidentally shot one on opening day 🙂

There is a place on the outskirts of Belconnen that deals with the extermination of chickens, Poultrywitz.

There is a sign on the front that reads: Welcome to Inghams “Ein Wok machen Sie gebratene”.

A scary, scary, tasty place.
