Paul Collins is an historian, broadcaster, writer and environmentalist. A priest for 37 years, Dr Collins resigned from his priesthood due to a doctrinal dispute with the Catholic Church over his book Papal Power (1997). He currently works as an independent scholar and writer and has a strong commitment to ecological and population issues.
