The comedy play, the Narcissist, is on at the Q in Queanbeyan tonight (Friday) and tomorrow. My cousin took me to see it in Sydney recently, and I was mightily impressed, so I am going to watch it again.
Bucketloads of seats left – so go have a giggle at the theatre.

Mayhaps the final Trivia in the Trams at the Tra dies on Monday night from 7pm at Dickson. Free entry. Cash and voucher prizes, a bit of fun, and the usual ritual humiliation of people who think they’re going to ‘rock off’ in the paper/scissors/rock challenge. Special subject for the last round: Comics, graphic novels and anime (all very much clean, above-board and acceptable to your maiden aunt — hell, we had a table of Catholics from my old parish in the other week!)

Will TiTTaTT be extended past the second round of six weeks? ‘Tis in the lap of the gods, yea and verily.

P.S. Canberra has so much more going on every night than Albury. After one faux Irish pub (where every 18 year old in Albury is tonight) and ‘The Bended Elbow’, I think I’ve exhausted the possibilities on a Thursday evening. Yay for the bottle-o two doors down from the hoey-moey.

JB, I should add that the dates for the Majors Creek music festival are the 14th, 15th and 16th November.

Overheard made the following suggestion:

Music at the Creek is an annual festival presented by the Braidwood Folk Club (BFC).

Music at the Creek is a festival of music, dance and poetry. While its primary focus has been on folk music, BFC encourage a range of other acoustic genres, especially from young, or new and emerging acts.

The festival is small, family friendly, and based around the local recreation reserve at Majors Creek (approx 14kms past Braidwood on the road to Araluen).

At the Creek you can mingle with the renowned and the not so famous in a spirit of festivity and fun.

Join us at beautiful Majors Creek for a warm and friendly festival. Performances, music, song, dancing, poetry, kids’ activities, song (yeah, that’s twice but there’s heaps of that), sessions, workshops, blackboard performances.
