Hail warning

weird weather day, normally don’t get storms like that in winter.

It hailed briefly, it was only regular small hail and it had melted within a minute or so of hitting the ground.

hail at least twice over the day at anu, 10.00am and 3.00pm. sunny now..

We got more in Hackett at 3.00. Blue sky on one side, black sky on the other, Hail and a rainbow in the middle.

Lots in Evatt, my son was unconvinced it wasn’t snow.

It was small hail in middle Evatt but over my side towards William Slim it was prob 2cm. Had to drive from Belco to there in it, very majestic (we were in the rainbow – although the rain just before was freaky) to drive through.

The kids at the school were so very excited and people were taking pictures in the street, my daughter got some on her phone too. High spirits all round.

’twas better than the miserable day it looked.

Rain today has been great.

Been watching the storms come over the hills for the last few hours. 🙂

lots and lots of hail in south queanbeyan, looks to be up to 1cm. my backyard looks like it’s been snowing.

Very very small hails in Gungahlin @ 2:00pm.

Poor visibility driving along Gungahlin Drive, and it didn’t make it any better during sun shower.

Saw an old bloke who was confused as to whether he should fold his umbrella or not… poor bastard.

Heaps of hail in giralang

Had hail at the airport 10 mins ago.

Hopefully the hail doesn’t move too far south as I won’t be able to get my car undercover until 9 tonight. 🙁
