Bartron has been having some fun photographing the autumn light at sunset in these parts, here are his favourites:

Danman, that’s a good sunrise shot!
So we have Danman in the morning, Bartron in the evening….
I prefer sunrises as Im normally not busy at that time in the morning.
A good example can be found Href=”http://farm1.static.flickr.com/186/418584455_54f894fe4f_b.jpg”>Here
Ill upload a few more from the other day this afternoon.
Critique welcome.
hmm…try that URL again
I have sunrise shots as well like this one which I was up at 5:30 for (my wife said I was mad).
Sunset and sunrise photos do have different qualities though. Sunsets are more dynamic becasue the air is heated from the day, sunrise tends to be a bit calmer and the air ‘crisper’ (for want of a better word) and depending on the time of year you get dew, fog, frost…and brilliant red skies.
Mostly it’s the early mornings though I think.
Yeah, very nice Bartron.
How come photographers always seem to prefer sunsets over sunrise?
Is it something to do with not wanting to get out of bed in time – or is there a good photographic reason, like quality of light or whatever?
I wanna know.
