I posted earlier this week about trying to get a picture for the latest request on my website, Capital Yarns. I invite readers to submit three items and will write them a short story set in Canberra featuring all three.
I am still searching for the mouse house at Weston Park, but have now posted that yarn online. A fellow child of Tuggeranong challenged me to relive my youth; a time when Tuggeranong was ‘nappy valley’, local petrol stations tried to break world records and Kambah felt like the fastest growing suburb in Australia.
