Police seek dashcam footage of alleged indecent act

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage following an alleged indecent act in Gungahlin earlier this month.

Between 11 pm on Thursday, 11 December, and 1 am Friday, 12 December 2025, a man riding an e-scooter, with multi-coloured LED lights, allegedly committed an indecent act on a woman near the Gungahlin Drive overpass near the golf club.

The man police are seeking to identify is described as in his 30s and having a slight middle eastern accent.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing black sandshoes, long black pants, a black-hooded jumper with the hood pulled over his head and a black backpack.

Following enquiries, police are urging anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the incident or scooter to come forward.

Anyone who can assist police should provide their contact details to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote 8249551. Information can be provided anonymously.
