The fans who were at the Stadium in Bruce should be pretty happy having seen 80 points scored and the home side triumphant 52-34,
The Herald Sun has a report.
Nice to see another second-half kick along from the Green Machine.

LeagueHQ has an interesting article on the state of wrestling tactics in the current game. Phil Gould wrote it, but it’s still pretty good.
Next weekend the boys in green are going to be trying to deal with these rubbish tactics, no doubt in the absence of any help from the referees.
I’m a Sea EAgles fan, but I’m glad I have two teams I can support in the finals! Well done Raiders.
If they are saving a reported $400,000 by ditching the Urinator they should be tearing up Terry Campese’s contract and giving him a new one with the Carney money – the way that guy has stepped up in the last few weeks has been terrific to watch.
Bring it on… Let’s hope we can knock over the Sharks and send Stuart into a rage…
rosie> No, you’re not, but I know what you mean. The whingers seem extremely selfish to me.
Go Raiders!
i must be pretty much the only person in canberra who goes for the raiders. 🙂
GO RAIDERS!!!!
If the Sydney media knew at the start of the season that the Raiders would lose half their top team to injuries and that Carney would get the boot then they wouldn’t have just predicted them to come last, they probably would have called for them to be dropped from the NRL altogether.
Despite some ropey defence again today the Green Machine put on a good show.
I think the Raiders’ performance has been a real highlight in this somewhat troubled centenary year of league.
Hopefully they’ll be screened on Channel 9 a bit more next year. They certainly are playing the type of footy that people (not just those in Canberra) like to watch.
Now they’ve made the finals, we might actually get to see them play on TV for a change!
Yep, now the Tigers are out of it the second team thingy kicks in and it makes it easier to have so many ‘unlikeable’ teams up there.
Also a die hard Raiders fan mate has pocketed a lazy $3G after putting $500 on them to make the 8 back in February.
