The NZ Herald is very impressed with the Raiders’ 40-25 win over Souths.
It was made all the sweeter by being behind 19-6 at half time.
Favourite moment Raiders fans?

Everyone beats Souths, it’s impossible not to.
Everone except Manly last week. Where is Manly on the ladder again?
I just have to point out that Souths are the FIRST team since mid 2005 to put more than 30 points on against Manly..
Last year they were in the top 8, where were the Raiders ?
Good article, thanks for the link.
It’s nice that they went over to the fans after the game 🙂
One of the commenters just after the article said something that I’ve been hearing a lot from fans of other teams – that the raiders are becoming “everyone’s second favourite team”.
Makes it so much more of a shame that they don’t get the support here they deserve.
Great article from the Daily Telegraph: Inside Canberra’s dressing room after the win.
That’d be good. It’s not made easier by the vocal few who say they hate our city’s NRL team. I put those people in the “sick-of-hearing-about-the-raiders” category, or the “boring-five-tackles-kick-five-tackles-kick” category. I’m not sure which category I hate more.
Seems the Raiders are on the up and up since Carney got binned. Now to rebuild that fan base.
Pretty clear in this thread (and every thread on the topic) that I’m a Raiders fan.
Which is nothing short of incredibly frustrating most of the time.
You’ve learned how to spell grammar! Well done. Now you can start work on punctuation and spelling. Hop to it. Then we’ll work on the “being boring” thing.
Id rather read about the Raiders, than you moaning about cops and donuts and people with bad grammar.
This is news yadda yadda Riotact has really gone to the dogs yadda yadda.

Herbie gone, Thompson gone. It blows me away how many players we’ve loss to injury and misadventure this season.
Hopefully the players that remain have the legs to achieve something come finals.
My god, we lost another 2 players to injury in this game. That leaves us with only 17 fit players – just enough to start a game. Luckily our juniors are pretty damn good.
Neil Henry’s talking about maybe putting Tonguey into a half position next week. Tongue’s fantastic but he works best as a workhorse, so I reckon we’d be better off taking the opportunity to blood another newbie alongside Campo instead.
No favourite moment for me thus far, I haven’t seen the game yet. Looking forward to it though, 40 points sounds noice.
My favourite moment was when the Raiders away-team were put back in their box at half-time, and the home-team turned up to play the second half.
