The Zebras of Lake George

What a pity that the Department of Lands has decided today that the zebras have to go! Despite being a free tourist attraction and supporting driver safety by encouraging people to stop at the Driver Reviver, the four friends will be herded away quietly this weekend.

Interestingly, Mr Ed was actually a zebra painted white to look like a horse!

But Francis the talking Mule was actually a female mule. She just had a deep voice, so made out she was a male. Must have been hard for her so say “I’m Francis with an I”, knowing that she was a female mule. ¡ .~

The sculptures a right next to a dam, and I thought it would be funny to have a lion sculpture stalking the zebras over the bank 🙂 It can be the Lake George African Savannah
