They’re not mutually exclusive. They can be mentored, socially supported and hugged on one side of the stocks and have pieces of fruit inserted at the other.

I hear you. As a parent I would be terrified that the scumbags had booby-trapped the sandpit with broken glass or something equally as evil.

Yes indeedy, excellent idea. Were it to eventuate, I reckon I could finally find a use for the booby traps my dog leaves in the back yard. I really like the idea of being able to throw recently laid dog turds at the sort of scum who do stuff like this.

I think you are getting a bit carried away here.

Mentoring – Ok (Close your eyes when rotten fruit flies towards your face)
Social Support – OK (I’m sure there would be people willing to carry them to the stocks)
hugs – That is a bit far. Throwing rotten fruit is probably ok, but throwing Huge Unripe Green Squashes is a bit extreme.

McDonalds Weston is 24hr isn’t it, used to be a time when the hoods would pick a dark, quite place to do their stuff. Seems there’s just no fear anymore, broad daylight or people around is no longer a barrier.
