After saying they’d be contacted by police, and forced to reveal their identity (doubt police would do that?) and apologise, they shut down the Canberra Goss (though I don’t buy that they gave the real name of who made it). There has been copycats, this ” ‘Berra Goss Queen”, and “Canberra Nuisance”
I don’t think it’s acceptable, what these pages do, but are we powerless to it legally, until something ‘very bad’ gets said?

Theres another one called Canberra Goss. Seems to be a place for people to write nasty things about others. I had a look a few nights ago after seeing some people whinging about it and its quite horrible stuff. They have been posting peoples mobile numbers as well which i find concerning.

My age and lifestyle means i know none of these people but i imagine if i was a lot younger and some of that was written about me i would be quite upset even if it was all bulls***.
