Police are calling for information to help them identify a man who allegedly acted aggressively towards a dog walker in northern Canberra earlier this month.
They have released a face-fit image of the man they wish to identify.
A person was walking their dog on a bike path between Ginninderra Drive and Evelyn Owen Crescent in Dunlop about 5:30 pm on 8 June when the man approached them, an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
He allegedly yelled aggressively and made unsolicited and derogatory remarks to the dog walker before the latter fled the area and contacted police.
“They later met with specialist staff at AFP Forensics who compiled a face-fit image of the man,” the police spokesperson said.
“ACT Policing is today releasing this image to assist in identifying the man.”
Police also want to speak with anyone else who may have been approached by the man in the Dunlop, Charnwood or Macgregor areas.
If you can assist police, contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website (quote 8070914).
