In our ongoing series of things in Canberra that are better than in NSW I present our TXT road safety signs.
Anyone want to suggest any other signs that could be improved with this approach?

CBF: Can’t be f***ed
CBF: Couldn’t Be Fudged
I’d have few problem with “safe driving ftw”, but a series of “Speeding = Fail”, “DUI = Epic Fail” (or anything similar) would still sound like old people trying to be ‘hip’ and telling young people that ‘we dig what you dig’.

Text and drive and you will crash into a tree and burn alive.

OH HAI WELKUM TO CAMBRAZ
And on the other side …. KTHXBYE!
“Speeding Hurts” as always made me laugh … it’s not speeding that hurts – it’s the sudden stop at the end.
Have you seen the one on Isabella Drive? It has the ACT govt logo, then says
BUCKLE UP
They are practically asking for it to be ‘amended’! (Some might say, corrected!)

More likely I’m just trying to vary things up.
I didn’t say it wasn’t funny.
or not.
certainly don’t understand the guy last night who roared down the street to the “t” intersection, then slammed on his brakes, unfortunately, he just kept going. must have come as a shock, but he seemed ok as he roared off again.

late for your own funeral?
keep speeding!
Lacks txt’iness though…
Johnboy I’ve come to the conclusion that you hate the ACT and are missing NSW terribly. As a coping mechanism you have decided to pick inane or even contrary (as is the case here) examples of why the ACT is better.
Hmm, another possibility is that you are quite serious, in which case the ACT is in a lot of trouble.
