The ABC has the happy news that a 31 year old drunk has needed the help of the fire brigade to get out of a hole last night at the Belconnen Skate Park.
Some practice for the rescue team and a trip to hospital for facial injuries ensued.

rofl – totally grease the edges, drop a few bags of Doritos in the middle too. It’s the perfect trap
small line of vb bottles, ending in a greased ramp.
I used to ride trolleys, bread crates, etc there, but the best bowl for capture and bugger all way to get out was the charnwood bowl.

Ah! Now I get it (thanks Dvaey). I’ve never seen one like that. Quite a good drunk trap. You could grease the edges and have all kinds of fun on a Saturday night.
I believe this is the bowl in question.
The practice of ‘bread-crating’ was popular in the mid 90’s. It’s nice to see the bowl is still there!
I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to say “yep, Belconnen. It’s a hole you don’t want to be stuck in.”
Unfortunately I’ve been bitterly disappointed.
It must of been some fall if he needed the fire brigade to get him out and presumably an ambulance to get him to hospital, I wouldn’t really wish that sort of injury on anyone – sober or drunk.
I went into the bowl in a shopping trolley….
In retrospect, not a plan I would recommend to others.
yeah don’t ever get stuck down there when its raining – not much fun trying to get out
I’m guessing it’s the bowl that skaters use. I once rode down into it in a bread crate. I wasn’t drunk, but it was dam hard to get out of.
Yep. Leaving an uncovered hole around… he’ll be beseiged by ambulance-chasing lawyers on Monday.
