My baby boomer partner needs a new lower denture.
He’s sick of dribbling his ham and pea soup down his trackie daks 😉
Quote from a dental lab, admittedly a very good one, $12,000.
Could buy an old ute for that!
Any recommendations?

Re dentures – appreciate comments although a bit out dated (so am I, and may not be using the site correctly as am new to it), I need upper dentures and would appreciate any recommendations. I am thinking of a practice in Dickson as they have been around for years so assume they are OK?
Not a nice look having only a few ‘choppers’ up top!
Does he enjoy the idea of having glow in the dark vampire teeth? ‘Cause I get you a pair of those for a couple bucks.
Thanks for all the Riot-us comments. Had a fun time reading them. The BB rang a place in Sydney today that does work anchoring a denture to two implants. They want $14,000.
Thailand here we come.

There’s a previous thread on this. Book a flight to South East Asia, have a fantastic holiday, both of you get your teeth done, and come back with half the money still in the bank.
Easy.
Great idea. A friend just back from Thailand had an excellent job done. Hate flying tho 🙁
What do you hate more? Flying? Or a partner that dribbles soup down his trackies? Or paying through the nose for things?
Save yourself thousands, and just invest in a super dooper food proccesor, puree all your food. No need for chomper what so ever!
If you need dentures, you may be elligible for an early release of a portion of your superannuation to pay for them. It’s worth looking in to

Good luck! 🙂

I had some an upper plate made (no implants) by Martin Brikcuis a dental prosthetist in Turner about 5 years ago at a cost of aprox. $1200 and then got some of it back with MBF.
I have heard that Martin Brikcuis is excellent. I will give him a call. Thanks

Funny!
Worth a try though. It’s amazing the great stuff out there. Got some brand new- in a pkt- Freedom cedar louvre blinds. Only needed a wee bit of trimming.
